Yana - Hill Station of Karnataka

A well-known Indian tourist place is our target for the day. Yana village is located in Karnataka State, India. This spot is famous for unusual rock formations such as Bhairaveshwara Shikara and Mohini Shikara.


It is pilgrimage place having cave temple popular for natural self manifested Shiva lingam has formed. The average height of water fall is 30 feet and surrounding is covered by dense forests, wild flowers and bamboo groves. People believe the place is named from its limestone rock. Take blessings of self-made Shiva Ling located inside the temple known as Gangodbhava. Caves area is famous for rock formations, hills and waterfalls as well.


Bhairaveshwara Temple: A shrine that is also a Cave Temple of Yana village. Idol of Lord Bhairaveshwara is incarnation of God Shiva. You have to reach foothills of Bhairaveshwara Shikhara for the temple.


Maha Shivaratri is the major festival in Yana when people from around the world reach here.

Some tourist spots closer to Yana are Kumta (only 32 Km), Sirsi (only 54 Km), Gokarna (57 Km), Siddapur (only 68 Km), Murudeshwar (only 77 Km) and  Banavasi (only 78 Km).

Nellore - A District of AP with full of Tourist Spots

Nellore is the district as well as important city of AP (Andhra Pradesh) State, India. The Nellore region is having countless tourist places which mean if you plan the vacations in Nellore you should plan long holidays. This Indian tourist place is getting popularity in European visitors. People from different nations are arriving Nellore at diverse periods.



Nellore is 6thhigh populated city of Andhra Pradesh and serving the state as administrative headquarters of Potti Sri Ramulu region. Earlier the city was known as Vikrama Simhapuri. It’s only 168 Kms away from Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu.  However, Hyderabad city is 453 Kms far from Nellore. Penner River is one of the popular rivers of south India. Past of the City:
The city was existed during the ruling period of Maurya Empire. Ashoka was the successful ruler of Maurya dynasty and Nellore was under his empire. This shrine was constructed in 17th century by Yadama Nayudu. The legend of India is having details that Lord Krishna beaten Jambavantha in fight and lord Vishnu deflated the ego of Garut Mata at this place.

By Road: NH-5 is directly connected to Nellore from Chennai and Kolkata. APSRTC (Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation) buses are available for Nellore from various parts of the state. TNSTC is also having buses for this famous town. If you are coming from Karnataka then get the KSRTC buses for Nellore. Buses from BangaloreHyderabadChennai and various other cities are available in good quantity.


By Rail: Nellore is having own railway station having direct trains from VijayawadaChennaiHyderabad and other big cities.

By Sea: Nellore is having another transport method. You can reach the town through Krishnapatnam Port formed by state government of AP. Ships from Visakhapatnam Port are available for Nellore.

By Air: The closest airport is Renigunta in Tirupati located at only gap of 130 km from Nellore. Flights for destination are available from VijayawadaVisakhapatnamHyderabadDelhi and Mumbai. Big international airport closer to Nellore is Chennai so abroad visitors can also get the destination easily.

Udayagiri: Amazing Destination of India

Udayagiri is our next Indian tourist place popular as Mandal of Nellore region, Andhra Pradesh born in 14th century. Earlier the city was capital of Langula Gajapati Kingdom from Orissa. However, Krishna Deva Raya the ruler of Vijayanagara captured the city under Andhra Pradesh in 1512. Udayagiri fort was constructed by Ruler Langula Gajapati. To reach fort people use to go through dense jungle track from eastern side of state. 


Famous Udayagiri Hills: major attraction parts of city are Hills mingled with historical background. Such hills are explained the Ramayana as well. It is the place where Lord Hanuman carried Sanjeevini mount to cure Lakshmana. At the time of returning from Lanka god Hanuman thrown the Snajeevini hill in this place. The crystal clear flowing water from hill states the importance of Udayagiri hills. Experts are still not able to find the source of water coming from the hills. Local people are using the water for drinking purpose. Some best spots to visit in Udayagiri are shrines of Udaya Lakshmidevi, Lakshmi Narasimha, Devastanam village Loddi, Tapka, Kona, Choti and Badi Masjid.

Gandipalem Dam: This popular spot is famous for storage of drinking water and cultivation for farmers. Name to this dam area is given after Langula Gajapati the ruler of Udayagiri. 

Ghatika Siddeswaram Shrine: A shrine dedicated to god Shiva is another amazing spot for voyagers. This stunning and picturesque location is famous for continuous water supply. The shrine constructed is added in list of oldest temples of India. 

Siddeswaram: A small but effective village is available for you as next tourist place. By Road: If you have planned to visit the spot then closer station to reach Udayagiri is Nellore located at only gap of 96 kms. Road is the best mode to reach Udayagiri as the hills are quite dangerous to drive so you must be careful if going through own vehicle. State buses are running daily from various parts such as Kavali, Atmakur, Nellore and Ongole. 

By Rail: Closest railway station is Kavali located at only gap of 75 kms from Udayagiri. Hyderabad is next big closer city for Udayagiri placed at 410 km distance. Direct bus is available from Hyderabad for Udayagiri. Some other Telangana regions are also having buses for Udayagiri such as Nizamabad, Warangal and Karimnagar.

By Air: Chennai is most convenient city to reach Udayagiri through airplane. Chennai is only 280 km far from Udayagiri and local buses are available for the destination. Other big airports available for Udayagiri are Hyderabad and Bangalore (only 380 kms away).

Gaumukh - Hill Station of Uttarakhand

Our prime Indian tourist place for today is Gaumukh. A place located in Uttarakhand State, India is turned as favorite destination for abroad travelers. Gaumukh is basically located under Uttarkashi region popular for Gangotri Glacier finishing point. River Bhagirathi is also originated from this area. Gaumukh is completely natural beauty spot having countless breathtaking spots. It lies closer to Tapovan meadow. 

This spiritual place of Hindu pilgrimage is visited by lots of local devotees who want to take bath in River Ganga.

Vajreshwari - Maharashtra

The beautiful town Vajreshwari is our next Indian tourist place. This place is attracting the travelers around the region because of natural beauty. There are 3 major rivers such as Tejsa, Surya and Tansa flowing from this town. You can imagine the beauty of town because there are countless natural spots that are amazing.



If you go through ancient myth this town is also referred in such holy books. Vajreshwari is proudly presented in "Puran" the Hindu holy book. According to this book Lord Rama and Saint Parshuram spend their valuable time at this Vajreshwari. The town got two more names such as Vadvali and Vajrayogini. Wardha - Historical Place of Maharashtra



Destinations of India are special because of diverse features. Today we are going to discuss about the Wardha city of Maharashtra state, India. The city is named after Wardha River and foundation period is 1866. This small city is turned as important centre of cotton business. City is holding the historical values for India as it was linked to Gandhi revolution era of nation.


In early phase the city was under Maurya’s, Satavahana’s, Sunga’s and Vakataka’s Empires. You will get some big monuments in this region developed by best Rulers of state at their ruling period. However, some more rulers of different dynasties ruled the city as well. You will find the signs of Chalukyas, Yadavas, Rashtrakutas, Bahamani Sultanate, Gonds, Muslim king of Berar and Marathas.


Wardha city was having big important because of cotton trade so British rulers also captured the city and ruled for longer period. 1934 was the major period of revolution of the local people with British rulers. This is the reason Wardha is having good values in Indian history.


City was the part of Nagpur region till 1862, though after separation Wardha itself turned as big region of Maharashtra.

Sewagram: Also known as Bapu Kuti is next spot for travelers. Gandhi ji came to Wardha in 1934. Big business man Mr. Jamnalalji Bajaj requested Gandhi ji to announce the Sewagram (free hospitality center) in this area. He offered the Segaon village for Ashram known as Bapu Kuti.


Paramdham Ashram: An ashram known as Paramdham is one more attraction of Wardha. Paramdham Ashram is located in Paunar Village founded by Shri Vinoba Bhave in 1934. Dham River is flowing from this region.


Bor Dam: If you like to spend time at Dam areas then visit Bor Dam located in Bori village, Selu. The distance of Dam and Wardha city is just 32 Kms. This dam is constructed on Bor River. Amazing gardens and picnic spots are important attractions of this place.


Hue-En-Sang Dhamma Camp and Stupa: attain to Bor Dam area and enjoy the Dhamma camp centre. Don’t forget to visit the Stupa as well because you will get a good mental piece as this place.


Garpit: A town of Karanja Tahasil is another spot closer to Wardha city housing dense forest at only distance of 64 Kms. Enjoy watching live animals in this forest but you have to be careful while entering in forest.

Girad: A finest location of Wardha region is Girad located at only gap of 59 KM. Visit tomb of Sheikh Fahrid baba in this area. Lord Rama temple is also famous of Girad area located closer to the tomb.

RBPS (Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti): A institution started in year 1936 is popular for President ship of Doctor Rajendra Prasad.


Laxmi Narayana Mandir: A Vishnu and Laxmi mata temple is our next spot in Wardha. The shrine is constructed in 1905 with marble interior. The reason behind opening this temple was to allow low caste people to pray their god. Jamnalal Ji opened this shrine in 19th July, 1928 for lower caste citizens.


Bajaj Wadi, Ashti, Sonegaon, Kapshi, Koteshwar, Pothara, Pardi, Pohana, Mandgaon, Mahakali temple and Hinganghat are some more special destinations available in Wardha for voyagers.
